Winter Workouts

November: Off except for weight training. Coach Hank will provide a workout program for the kids. Posted here Monday.

December: Weight training and long toss. Coach Eric will provide direction for that program

January – February: We will start to work out in a warehouse that has been provided for us to use.
Hitting: Groups of 8-10 with 90 min sessions and 2 times a week. (we will schedule your time)
Pitchers/Catchers: Groups of 8 (4pitchers 4 catchers) with 20 min sessions and 2 times a week.

March-April: We should be able to go outside. We Will set up a schedule the closer we get to March.

Book: We are going to read the book Mind Gym. You can find it on Amazon for around $17.00. We will spend the winter reading and discussing how we can implement some of the techniques to baseball and life.

Pods: We are going to group the boys into 7 different pods. The pods will have Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman combined. There will be one leader for each pod and they will be responsible for that group. We want the group to handle many topics we provide them. We want to develop chemistry and a culture of caring and competing at a high level. By incorporating all levels we create a culture that keeps growing for years to come.

Store: We will open the store for simple things to be purchase. Such as: Tee shirts, shorts, and hoodies. Hoping to have it open the first week of November. Coach Steve will be in charge of the store.
