Fall Baseball 2020

Families,

As the Summer’s end is rapidly approaching, it is time to lock down fall baseball. We will be having an initial tryout Wednesday, August 5th at Ft. Lupton Pearson Park at 5pm. $150 deposit due at the time of the tryout, if you make a team that $150 will go towards your overall cost of $900 and will not be refundable shall you choose not to play. If you do not make a team, your money will be immediately refunded.

After the initial tryout there will be a secondary workout on Thursday, August 13th at Powers Field in Cheyenne, WY in order to help set team placement as we will combine the summer with Cheyenne Post 6.

The goal will be to have 12-14 position players per team, with a combination of position players and pitcher onlys for 8-10 pitchers on each team.

Our season will be starting with a practice on August 19th and games beginning August 22nd. We will be having practices once or twice a week and games on the weekends through the 3rd or 4th week of October. Practices will be held locally. Our Teams will be coached by a combination of Post 6 coaches, our Roughnecks Coaches and a few of our former players who are current minor leaguers but with unfortunately no minor league season for them to be finishing this fall.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We know a ton of organizations will be selling families on big traveling plans and glamorous recruiting. Please let me remind you that we are still in an unknown world. Division 1 schools are still in a recruiting dead period, Division 2 schools are in a recruiting quiet period, so the only schools that will be able to watch your sons play games live will be Division 3, NAIA, and Junior Colleges, so huge travel to find those schools is not really a necessity. For our older guys, we will be playing in front of 5 or 6 colleges who are able to recruit when we play at Otero, Colby, Slammers Labor Day, and during our own showcase.

Thank you,
